Aliquippa native Todd Olson has been acting for more than twenty years. He originated the role of Joe Manski in 1997 and played the part until the series ended its first run in 2004.

His extensive film appearances include “Sudden Death,” “House Guest,” “Room Mates,” “King Pin,” “Passed Away,” and “Desperate Measures,” all of which were filmed in the Pittsburgh area. He has also appeared in several television movies which were also shot in Pittsburgh: “Shades Of Gray,” “A Promise Kept,” “The Fire Next Time,” and “The Quecreek Miner Movie.”

If Todd’s face seems familiar, it may be because you have seen him in commercials for Comcast Cable, UPMC Health Systems, and UPMC Sports Medicine, as well as the Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins.

His numerous stage credits include roles in “You Can’t Take It With You,” “Harvey,” “The Odd Couple,” “Plaza Suite,” and “Gypsy.”

“What I cherish the most is spending time with God, my family, and friends,” says Todd. “I base my life on the four f’s: Faith, Family, Friends, and Fun. If you have those four things, you’ll be happy in everything you do. And I love playing the role of Joe Manski. It’s acting with a purpose!”

Todd and his wife, Toni, have been married for twenty-four years and are the proud parents of Erica, who is a senior in high school.
