A short order cook and jack-of-all-trades – a technological genius, although he doesn’t realize his talent. Everyone else does, but Marcus is so focused on his desire to be the next Emeril — his man crush — that he’s oblivious to it. He likes to wear a chef’s jacket and film himself so he can critique himself and work on his “show,” which is actually a popular YouTube channel. Occasionally he seems to break the fourth wall, but what we are seeing is his camera’s perspective. While he’s a competent line cook, he’s not a very good chef. Plus, he’s always in search of a catch phrase (“BAM!”). He majored in culinary arts and minored in film.
