Tim is the café’s owner. He was well-known in the neighborhood for operating the His Place diner for many years, which he sold when he went on the mission field full time. Now he’s returned and working hard to get his new café — also named “His Place” — off the ground. Tim is rock-steady and dispenses wisdom from a Christian perspective while interacting with a hodge-podge of characters who may or may not believe the same way he does.
